Hello, welcome, Sa-lam, Tansi, hallo, dia duit! If you are a FlickR user, you will notice a different welcome each day! Well, the reason I love co-teaching this class is that I learn something different each day! I hope you will join us and in the end, you will feel the same way!

I am from Wells, Maine, a rural, coastal community in the USA. I am 1 hour north of Boston, 7 hours south of Montreal, 5 hours from Quebec and when I ski all winter, I am only 30 minutes to the Canadian border.I am a teacher in our local high school of 430 students. One thing about a high school my size is that I know most of the students and families. I work in the field of special education with students who have handicapping conditions of Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADD and some Intellectual Disabilities. I am so looking forward to this course and discussions! Brain research has changed a lot since I began in the field of education in the late 1970's. I am happy to be on this journey with you.

They came and filmed Morgan and I during an exciting week in fall 2011. Last March 2013 they produced a 2 minute video which now has over 3 million hits.I am constantly amazed with the power of video and the ability of our students to demonstrate new learning.
